Welcome to Beauty From Ashes!

The aim of my blog is to air a voice over the internet that I don't hear from much, that of a former pastor who fell from his position and yet rejoices due to God's redemptive abilities! Too many times I hear of fallen pastors and then they're gone. Poof. We never hear from them again. I plan on blogging my way through this openly enough to be a voice to others but not so much to earn the wrath of my wife!

This blog will be multi-faceted. I plan to post humorous family moments, my struggles as I journey from arrogant self-absorbed living to humilty and brokenness before God, as well as other items such as book/movie reviews, sports thoughts, and anecdotes about travel and the airline industry.
