Air Travel Tip One:

Check in online with the air carrier's website even if you can't print out your boarding pass. Even if you show up past the air carrier's time limit for checking in (Horizon's is 30 mins. here in Spokane) the agent can reprint your boarding pass and send you to the gate.

One catch: Be sure you know airline's cut-off for checked baggage. It's usually the same as the boarding pass cut-off time. The problem many passengers have is this: they check in online but then bring a bag up inbetween 30 minutes and departure time. Since we cannot check the bag, we have to rebook the passenger for a later flight even though they are already checked in.
